The Natural Way
Neth Hill Border Collies is run by the lovingly nicknamed ‘sheepdog Julie’ in the depths of The Heriots just outside of Edinburgh. Her dedication and love for her dogs is incredible and results in a pack-like connection between herself and her dogs. This series was made as an aim to summarise the discipline and bond between dog and trainer.
Julie follows a strict training method that she calls ‘The Natural Way’. This involves utilising the dog’s natural instincts and senses and training them using body language.
This small project was shot in two days and gives an insight into the responsibilities Julie has alongside her dogs.
